Breakup letter

Dear Rainy Weather,

This notification is in response the ridiculous amount of spring storms that have been experienced across the world in the past few weeks. I love you, I really do, but there comes a point in every relationship when both parties must go their separate ways. You and I reached this point three weeks ago.

The hassle you cause my friends and I is simply unacceptable, and I've reluctantly come to the conclusion that your not worth the trouble. My family hates you, My friends hate you, and My dog especially hates you. Your causing ruined shoes, runny noses, and frizzy hair, all of which are unnecessary complications in my life. Not only that, but the emotional strain your putting on me is unfair and selfish. What right have you to make the world dark and gloomy? What right have you to interrupt my valuable sleep cycles with loud noises and bright flashes of light? Wasn't it enough to waste my time with blizzards in the first three months of the year? Can't I have one month of nice warm sunny days? Your self-centered, and refuse to change. We're through. Forever.

You and I used to be so close, and I loved you more than any other weather, but that was before you changed. Your violent, and controlling nature have become more and more stifling and its time we split. Permanently

I hope we can still be friends, even if its a long distance relationship. I'm sure the Sahara Desert would be glad to provide a shoulder for you to cry on, but its time you left me well alone.

Please consider my request, if your obnoxious insistence to interrupt my life continues I will be forced to take legal action.

Have a nice day,

Mary Russell
Advocate of Sunshine
